Grøstl webhash (beta)

About

Grøstl is a cryptographic hash function designed for NIST's Advanced Hash Standard competition.

Grøstl webhash is part of project "Crypto Core" of the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden Rüsselsheim Geisenheim. The Groestl implementation used here is based on that described in this paper.

Everyone's invited to let Grøstl hash any data via the provided upload form. The webserver transfers the input via ethernet to the Spartan-3A DSP 1800 Board, where it will be received and relayed from a simple appication running on a synthesized MicroBlaze processor to it's coprocessor, which is Grøstl.

Since this whole procedure is in the testing-phase, the standard C implementation submitted to NIST is running along with the FPGA-Grøstl. If there are any differences between the results, one should rely on the NIST-result.
